We just relaxed Monday when we arrived, then headed out Tuesday, hoping to see 'DRAGON01', the Typhoon Display Pilot for 2026, head up for a practice display, however he ended up doing it over at Waddington, so we waited for him to land, before going back to our van.
We then went to the fence for the afternoon departures, with one heading up to Cape Wrath in Scotland, with a pair of live pave way bombs for some target practice.
Wednesday was more of the same, this time heading there in the morning instead to them go out...
We then moved along the fence to catch some of them returning...
Two of the Typhoons that went out in the afternoon had gone out with live Paveways again, so we went to catch them returning late, and they had ended up dropping them up North.
Thursday we just went to see some afternoon arrivals...
Then Friday's weather was looking really nice, and it turned out to be a mini 'Quick Climb Friday' for the RAF, with all pilots requesting PTOs, although only 8 jets went up altogether.
And then we waited for 6 of them to return before heading home, as the other 2 were still out training
