The morning started off sort of slow with the 'Warton Taxi' ERJ-145 arriving early, bringing in supplies and people. A man chatting to us said that Mondays were usually slow but then Typhoon after Typhoon started coming up the taxiway, with most of them requesting performance take-offs (Re-Heat) and even some taking off together as pairs
About half an hour after the last Typhoon's had taken off, Blackjack (ZJ914), piloted by 'Turbo' started coming towards us and he soon took off. Holding for a few minutes we waited for him to start his display and he soon did at a base height of 1,500ft
After the display concluded, the rest of the Typhoons currently out on sorties returned, and headed off for their lunch breaks. Shortly after, we could see the Red Arrows practicing in the distance over their base at RAF Waddington. A NOTAM showed we were expecting them to come and land at Conigsby after doing a low level flypast throughout Lincolnshire. All 9 were seen initially, but after tweet by the Royal Air Force said that the flypast had been cancelled, only 5 of them started heading towards us to conduct their display practice.
The next day we moved over to the spotters car park for some different angles, and to also get closer to them as they taxied back to their parking spots.
