Milky Way over Llyn Clywedog Reservoir
Whilst on holiday in Wales, we decided on one of the nights that it was clear to head up to the top of Llyn Clywedog Reservoir, which was only about 10 minutes form where we were staying. The skies were fairly dark and we could see the Milky Way with our eyes, but because of the time of year, the sun doesn't reach a low enough altitude (below the horizon) for it to be truly 'astronomical twilight' so it wasn't as dark as it could have been
