First up was a Typhoon from RAF Coningsby, and its route didn't look promising but someone heard on the scanner that the pilot wanted to do some low-level flying in Wales. Following the plane on radar showed it heading towards RAF Valley first for a Practice Diversion (PD), and then started to head our way. It ended up only doing one pass and then went back off to base

The next couple of hours had a nice variety with: Texans, Hawks, Phenoms, F-35s and an Atlas A400M, and then the afternoon was quiet so I headed back down to the car. Unfortunately most of the later passes were quite high so didn't have much if any background in them, but it was still a fun day!
